President & CEO

Brendon Stryhn

Founder and owner Brendon Stryhn has been passionate about building and design since childhood. As family lore has it, when Brendon was in kindergarten, he asked for a small wooden ladder for Christmas so he could build things. He still owns that same ladder today, a symbol of the curiosity and drive that would define his life and career.

Brendon’s professional journey in construction began in the late 1990s, right out of high school. He started in Indoor Air Quality and HVAC work before transitioning into full design and construction in the early 2000s. When the housing market crash of 2008–2009 reshaped the industry, Brendon pivoted into commercial construction, where he managed and built projects across the United States.

Over the years, he has led construction efforts for national brands such as McDonald’s, Burger King, Taco Bell, Red Lobster, Buckle, Children’s Place, Forever 21, H&M, Foot Locker, and Abercrombie & Fitch, among many others. His work spanned retail buildouts, quickservice restaurants, and healthcare facilities, including veterinary hospitals, dental clinics, urgent care centers, and specialty medical facilities.

Brendon also served as a Senior Project Manager on large-scale, high-density multi-family housing projects in downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul. These developments ranged from 7 to 12 stories in height, often with integrated parking structures and project values as high as $75 million. This extensive experience across market sectors, residential, commercial, and healthcare, provides Stryhn, LLC with a unique perspective and depth of expertise.

Brent Althoff

Brent Althoff is a project management-driven leader known for his expertise in scheduling, budgeting, and team coordination. He emphasizes clear, consistent communication to keep projects on track, using detailed schedules, manpower-focused updates, and professional presentation. Brent prioritizes financial accountability, ensuring project budgets are maintained through structured and transparent reporting. His approach to owner communication includes weekly updates with progress photos, timelines, budget reviews, and proactive risk identification. Above all, Brent believes in creating a positive, energetic work environment, because when the team is having fun, the results speak for themselves.

LEAD DESIGNER

Libby Yozamp

At the heart of Libby Yozamp’s work is a belief that spaces carry stories, and that the most meaningful ones are shaped with intention. With a background in interior architecture and years of experience in the design-build industry, she brings a rare balance of structure, beauty, and emotional depth to every project. Libby’s work is defined by her ability to blend technical expertise with elegance, creating spaces that feel both deeply personal and effortlessly livable. Guided by a soulful approach and a keen eye for detail, she leads the team in crafting spaces that hold warmth, character, and a sense of belonging. She is a member of both the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and the Interior Design Society (IDS).

Darby Wacker

Darby Wacker brings precision, organization, and a sharp eye for detail to Stryhn. Transitioning from administrative roles into construction financial management, she now oversees the company’s bookkeeping, budgeting, and financial operations. Darby’s thoughtful approach and diverse experience help drive efficiency and support strategic growth, providing a steady foundation for the team’s success.

Connor Lay

Connor Lay is a dynamic project manager known for clear communication, proactive coordination, and adaptability across multiple facets of the design-build process. From residential remodels to large-scale commercial developments, he brings a collaborative spirit and broad industry knowledge to every project. Connor focuses on aligning teams, exceeding expectations, and ensuring projects run smoothly from kickoff to completion.

Aaron Ardoff brings over 38 years of construction experience, combining leadership, craftsmanship, and teamwork on every project. Known for his keen eye for quality control and positive energy, he fosters strong relationships with contractors and team members alike. Aaron’s steady presence ensures that projects are executed to the highest standard while maintaining morale and collaboration on site.
